Six ways to earn more gold
Gold pays for upgrades at the blacksmith, scrolls at the scribes and the best finds at other players' stalls. The store sells no gold: you earn all of it in the game. These six habits fill your purse faster.
Open a stall. From level 10, the Stall button at the foot of your bag (I) opens a stall inside the walls of Emberfold, Valcrest or Gorzhak. Put up to 16 items on it, each with its own price, and walk away: the stall keeps selling while you hunt or even log out, and the gold reaches you wherever you are.
Sell gear to players, parts to traders. A magic, rare or unique piece is often worth far more at your stall than at a merchant. Common monster parts go to the trader: the + Materials button in the Sell tab adds them all at once and never touches your Gold Bars or Riftstones.
Never leave a chest behind. A slain monster's chest belongs to you and your party for 15 seconds, then to anyone, and after a minute it is gone. Press F to open the nearest one.
Hunt in a party. A chest's gold is split evenly between the members within 60 metres, and every extra member first adds 5% to the whole chest, so nobody loses by grouping.
Read a gold scroll before a long hunt. The Novice Gold Scroll adds 10% loot gold for an hour, and every gold bonus multiplies with the others: Gold Premium, store wings and cloaks, the party and the War of Morgard for the winning nation.
Watch for GM events. A game master can drop Gilded Imps, event monsters that carry thousands of gold each, or start a gold event: its chip shows in the corner of your screen with the time left.
